- Jul 18: That ad read by your favourite podcast host might not have been read by your favourite podcast host after all. Triton Digital has partnered with an AI voice company, ekoz.ai, to bring AI-generated host-read podcast ads to Spreaker. Podcast hosts can opt in to having their voice cloned; and then manually approve each ad for their podcast.
- Jul 9: Triton Digital released its 2025 Canadian Podcast Report. The survey, including data from Signal Hill Insights, claims that monthly reach has hit 39% in the country - up 3%, but a very different number to the 50%+ figures reported by Edison Research in a number of other countries.
- Jun 19: The US Triton Digital Podcast Ranker for May was released. NPR holds the top two slots with NPR News Now and Up First from NPR. The Gamut Podcast Network, launched in March, is new in the sales networks ranker.
- May 12: Libsyn have made four hires in its Business Development team. Nick Zier joins Libsyn as Senior Manager of Creator Partnerships; Cliff Clinton steps into the role of Senior Manager of Strategy and Podcast Operations, joining from Lemonada Media, Ossa and Ad Results Media; Scott Herd joins as National Account Director, joining from Sonnant, Daily Wire and iHeartMedia; and Brittany Hall comes aboard as Director of Brand Partnerships, with previous experience at Spotify, Triton Digital, Seekr, Chartable, Megaphone and Sony Music Entertainment.
