- Jul 18: Audioboom apparently paid £10mn ($13.4mn) for Adelicious, suggests Law360. (We covered the purchase yesterday). Meanwhile, Audioboom’s chairman, Michael Tobin, purchased a further £1mn-worth of shares.
- Jul 17: Audioboom has acquired the UK podcast network Adelicious. The combination of the businesses will create the UK’s largest homegrown podcast network with 40mn unique listeners, and more than 125mn monthly downloads and views. Adelicious will continue as a brand.
- Jul 8: Audioboom released its Q2/2025 trading update. The company made 5% more revenue year-on-year, but five times the profit: $1.2mn. Total consumption (in downloads/views) was up 5%.
