Netflix and Spotify form video podcast partnership
Netflix and Spotify have announced a new partnership, delivering a curated selection of Spotify’s top video podcasts to Netflix.
The partnership will bring sports, culture, lifestyle and true crime podcasts from Spotify Studios and The Ringer that complement Netflix’s existing programming and unlocks new audiences and wider distribution for the shows.
This initial selection of titles is just the beginning of the partnership between Netflix and Spotify, which will continue to add more podcasts from various genres and studios.
Video isn’t just popular, it’s what fans want: according to a Cumulus Media study, 72% of podcast listeners said they prefer shows with video.
The video podcasts will be available on Netflix in the US in early 2026, with other markets to follow.
