Adam Blackwell and Amy Stirling met as graduate students in anthropology, both obsessed with studying the same dead language and long-lost culture. Their relationship was always… complicated. They were bitter rivals, ideological opposites, and even went out on a date once - though they’d really prefer if everyone forgot about that last thing, thank you very much.

Then, they became the first two people in thousands of years capable of doing magic.

Over the next five years, they became global superstars, both revered and feared. Their powers led to a tragedy unlike any the world had seen before. Now, the world’s first two magicians of the modern age must figure out the truth of their power, its consequences, and their relationship with one another before they do more damage to the world.

The Harbingers is a new fiction podcast created by Gabriel Urbina, directed and sound designed by Jeffrey Nils Gardner.

This podcast may use tracking and attribution and dynamic content insertion

Stats: Statistics are produced by ART19 and Podscribe to help The Harbingers to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. ART19 is IAB v2 certified. Here is more detail about podcast statistics.

Tracking and attribution: ART19 and Podscribe or their partners may connect the fact you listened to this podcast to an action elsewhere on the internet. For example - they may spot a device that downloaded an episode of The Harbingers later visited the website of an advertiser; or they may track that a device that listened to The Harbingers also listened to a different show. This form of attribution is used to measure advertising effectiveness.

Dynamic content insertion: ART19 may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. The Harbingers may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

The Harbingers is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
