Strandloper – ’n vervolgverhaal
Onder die oppervlak van Bloubaai se rustige waters, vars lug en hegte gemeenskap, is daar woelinge en ou geraamtes in kaste wat op onmoontlike tye boontoe kom om lewens om te krap. Soos Tannie Ouvrou se verlede wat sy met haar ywerige hande probeer wegwerk, net om telkens weer deur Strandloper daaraan herinner te word. Jy sal Oom Fred en sy skaduwee Witvoet ook daar kry. Hy baklei teen hotelbaas Jack de Wet wat tradisies in die naam van vooruitgang vertrap. Daar is ʼn petisie wat probeer wal gooi, en dit skeur die dorp. Maar daar is ook dinge wat hulle saamsnoer. Nie net is dit Afrikaans se eeufeesjaar nie, maar ook Bloubaai se 100ste bestaansjaar, en die dorp gaan ʼn dubbele viering daarvan maak.

Dit is egter nie al wat die dorpenaars besig hou nie. Onder die blou waters lê die rykdomme van die see: kosbare perlemoen en skeepswrakke wat gierige hande lok. Hiérin lê een van die dorp se bes bewaarde geheime vasgeknoop. Strandloper se pa het onder raaiselagtige omstandighede gesterf, en almal swyg daaroor. Steeds gee niemand bes nie.
