Dans injonctions et bistouri, je vais à la rencontre de personnes qui ont eu recours à la médecine ou à la chirurgie esthétique pour corriger ce qui les empêchaient de se sentir elles-mêmes, un nez fort, une poitrine menue, des rides envahissantes… Cette décision a-t-elle été facile à prendre ? Le résultat est-il à la hauteur de leurs attentes ? Est-ce qu’on le fait vraiment pour soi ou quand même un peu sous influence ?
Les questions ne manquent pas, et mieux vaut s’en poser un maximum quand on envisage de faire “quelque chose”.
Bénéficier d’un traitement pour embellir ou rajeunir est presque banal aujourd’hui, pourtant le tabou n’est jamais loin. Pour cette raison et bien d’autres, j’inviterai régulièrement un spécialiste, psychologue, sociologue, philosophe… afin d’aiguiser notre regard sur ces procédures esthétiques qui restaurent ou transforment. Qu’on envisage ou pas d’y recourir.
