An education podcast from The Podcast Academy & DCP Entertainment

What does a podcast production company do? How does a podcast generate revenue? Where is the industry headed? These are just a few of the questions that podcast founders and experts are answering in a new show from The Podcast Academy and DCP Entertainment — Podcast 360, where you’ll get a 360-degree view on what it takes to build something that lasts in the podcast industry.
Each week, company founders and podcast experts will sit in the hot seat and answer three questions about all things podcasting, like content production, building a successful brand, sales and marketing, or founding a podcast-based business. The challenge is that they’ll have just sixty seconds to answer.
The next week, the guest becomes the host, turning the mic on another industry colleague, creating a daisy chain of knowledge and perspective.
We’ll also uncover fun and surprising facts about our guests through a game of two truths and a lie. Listen, Like, Follow, and let us know what you think!

This podcast may use tracking and attribution and dynamic content insertion

Stats: Statistics are produced by Megaphone and Chartable to help Podcast 360 to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Megaphone and Chartable are IAB v2 certified.

Tracking and attribution: Megaphone, Chartable and Nielsen or their partners may connect the fact you listened to this podcast to an action elsewhere on the internet. For example - they may spot a device that downloaded an episode of Podcast 360 later visited the website of an advertiser; or they may track that a device that listened to Podcast 360 also listened to a different show. This form of attribution is used to measure advertising effectiveness.

Dynamic content insertion: Megaphone may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Podcast 360 may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

Podcast 360 is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
