Apple Podcasts: Best So Far, Aug 2025 (global)

Today, Apple Podcasts released its first “Best So Far” list: it’s a new bi-annual list that recognizes some of the best podcast shows and seasons since the beginning of the year.

Curated by the Apple Podcasts editorial team, the “Best So Far” list is a collection of compelling new shows and seasons Apple Podcasts editors believe should not be missed.

The Best So Far list is the latest editorial collection from the Apple Podcasts editorial team, who listens to thousands of hours of podcasts every year to select shows to spotlight in the Apple Podcasts app through features and collections across a range of genres and topics throughout the year

There are different lists of ten shows for many parts of the world: you’ll find your country lists in the Apple Podcasts “Browse” tab (or, if you’re running the public beta, the “New” tab).

For Podnews readers, here are the lists from many places around the world. Interestingly, all of mainland Europe is without its own list; non-English podcasts are listed in Brazilian-Portuguese, Arabic and some Hindi, but most notably, no Spanish podcasts make the list.
