- We’ve done some analysis on the winners; a third were “indie”, 38% of the winners were female, and just 4 winning podcasts were from iHeartRadio.

Slate has announced more episodes from its popular podcasts. What Next: TBD gains an additional Sunday show; Political Gabfest adds a new book club show every month; Working now has new advice spinoffs every fortnight; and Mom and Dad are Fighting moves to two shows a week from April.

Pat Flynn’s Fusebox, which offers an embedded podcast player, is to offer podcast hosting. Dubbed “Easy Hosting”, it’ll launch on Feb 15, and cost $5/month, per show, for up to 100,000 listens per show.
