PRX publishes annual report

• PRX has published its annual report. 80 different organisations use its Dovetail podcast tools; 99% Invisible's Roman Mars donated more than $100,000 to the organisation, while Google donated more than $1mn. The organisation made $12.8mn in underwriting.

• Spooler has launched a demo of a location-based audio discovery tool. The company has also launched an improved audio editor.

• RØDE confirmed today that the release of Mac OS 14.1, which was made available last week, has fixed potential issues with some of its USB-based products.

• Evo Terra has published a list of the best fiction podcasts completed in October. His picks include Conference Call and Everyone’s Happy.

• Audacity 3.4 has been released. The audio editor adds time-stretching, music features, and a new export tool.

• Hindenburg Pro v2.02 build 2572 was released with a number of enhancements for “manuscript editing”.
