Podcasts and TV go together, says research

Half of US podcast listeners say they would like to watch a TV show based on their favourite podcast; and have discovered new TV shows by listening to podcasts. The data is part of research by Hub Entertainment Research, which suggests that TV networks should take podcasts seriously as a marketing and audience-growth medium.

Research from Emory University, NYU, and Carnegie Mellon University suggests that you should rotate your advertising creative: finding that some people get annoyed with online ad banners after seeing the same ad as little as three times. We’d love to see similar research for audio ads.
