No bull: Lower Street launches video production service
-
Lower Street has launched a video podcast production service. The founder and CEO Harry Morton announced the company’s approach in a video - filmed sitting in a field with three cows, seemingly in the pursuit of a metaphor about yoghurt. The company’s philosophy is that a video podcast shouldn’t just be a repurposed audio recording; we suspect it’s also learnt that Shure SM7Bs should ideally be kept away from Aberdeen Angus dairy cattle. You can watch the a-moo-sing video over here.

- Speaking in a panel at SXSW Sydney, Josh Lindgren from CAA highlighted the unique benefit of podcasting: “The really cool thing in podcasting is if you own your RSS feed, you can switch from one podcast network to another. That’s a very seamless change, maybe the audio logo changes, but your audience keep hearing the show. So, as a creator, if you own your RSS feed, you have the leverage of saying ‘I can leave and take all my followers with me so I need you to pay me more’.”
