Kara Swisher's new interview podcast

• Kara Swisher is to host a new interview podcast. The new title from New York Times Opinion Audio, is about power - and holding those who have it accountable. Sway is to be released on Monday September 21. (She calls it a “program” not a “podcast” in the trailer, incidentally.)

• Podcast host ART19 has launched ART19 Media, a content and direct sales division. They’ve launched with a “comedy co-op” Misfit Toys, a set of comedy podcasts curated by Jimmy Pardo.

• Ashley Flowers of Crime Junkie has launched a number of new shows in her audiochuck podcast network, including CounterClock which returns for a new season.

• Helen Zaltzman, off of The Allusionist, is profiled in Timber Media today. If Podnews ever gave out “good person” awards, Helen would be the first recipient.

• Antares Audio Technologies has made a set of their plugins available for a monthly subscription. A de-esser, a microphone modeller (so you can pretend you have the microphone you’ve always wanted), and an aspiration noise processor are all included.

• Add My Podcast has just added two new services - Podcast Addict and The Podcast Index. The service adds shows to a set of podcast directories automatically.

• Podyssey wants to play Podcast Lover Bingo.
