Podcast hosting and monetisation platform Megaphone says it has “launched in Germany, Spain, France and Italy”.
- We’re… not entirely sure what the company is announcing here. Megaphone tells us that the Spotify Audience Network is not launching there yet; and we’re told the platform will continue to be only available in English. It doesn’t appear to include any local support (support is “through email or chat”); and we can only find one Megaphone staff member in these countries on LinkedIn: that person is not a new hire. There’s also a new cheap 'voice plan’ for Apple Music, for people who like being misunderstood by Siri.
Thank you to RSS Podcasting, who has become our latest gold supporter (and our #1 supporter, too!) We’re grateful to you for supporting our independent journalism, and for your support elsewhere over the past year or so. (Here’s how you can be like them).
