ศูนย์เทปและหนังสือธรรมะท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ได้ถือกำเนิดขึ้นสืบเนื่องมาจากการที่ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ได้มีโอกาสไปปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานร่วมกับมิตรสหาย จึงมีจิตศรัทธาดำริจัดธรรมบรรยายและสนทนาธรรมขึ้นตามกาล เพื่อเผยแพร่เป็นธรรมทาน โดยใช้ชื่อรายการ"สนทนาธรรมนำสุข" เป็นประจำเสมอมาเป็นปีที่3 ในการจัดธรรมบรรยาย “สนทนาธรรมนำสุข” ทุกครั้งได้มีการบันทึกเทป ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค จึงมีดำริให้นำมามอบเทปและหนังสือธรรมะ ให้สำนักหอสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ได้รับปริญญาศิลปศาสตร์ดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ สาขาภาษาไทย ในปีพุทธศักราช 2539
