辛亥革命时期期刊介绍（一）
辛亥革命，是指发生于中国农历辛亥年（清宣统三年），即公元1911年至1912年初，旨在推翻清朝专制帝制、建立共和政体的全国性革命。狭义的辛亥革命，指的是自1911年10月10日（农历八月十九）夜武昌起义爆发，至1912年元旦孙中山就职中华民国临时大总统前后这一段时间中国所发生的革命事件。广义上辛亥革命指自十九世纪末（一般从1894年兴中会成立开始，但也有学者认为从1905年中国同盟会成立算起）迄辛亥年成功推翻清朝统治在中国出现的连场革命运动。辛亥革命前后是中国报刊蓬勃发展的时期,据初步统计,在千种以上。这些报刊是研究这一时期的社会和历史、特别是思想文化史的重要资料。中国社会科学院近代史研究所文化史研究室和新闻所报刊史研究室准备选出二、三百种比较重要或有代表性的刊物和报纸进行比较系统的研究,编写一部《辛亥革命时期期刊介绍》,分五集出版。现在,第一集已经出版。第一集共介绍期刊四十一种,内容广泛,资料丰富,既是一部资料性的书,也是一部研究著作。它不仅引用了一些难见的重要资料,并对各刊的编撰者、背景等作了说明,而且注重研究和介绍各刊反映的政治倾向和社会思潮,既注意它们的共同趋向和时代特点,
