Neurodegeneration kompakt
Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen sind Erkrankungen wie Alzheimer, Parkinson, ALS und Huntington, die mit Demenz, Bewegungsstörungen und anderen schwerwiegenden Beeinträchtigungen einhergehen. Bis heute gibt es keine Heilung, die eine enorme Belastung für unzählige Betroffene und Angehörige bedeuten. Trotz des schwerwiegenden und tödlichen Verlaufs, fehlt es an Aufklärung. Unter Alzheimer und Parkinson können sich viele noch etwas vorstellen, aber spätestens bei ALS und der Huntington-Krankheit fehlt das Wissen meist in Gänze. Das wollen wir mit dieser Info-Reihe ändern.
