Jacob, dood in Qatar

Wanneer journalist Lex Boon door kunstdetective Arthur Brand wordt benaderd om samen een mysterie te onderzoeken, raakt hij verwikkeld in een intrigerende zaak: de raadselachtige dood van Jacob die werkte in het museum van een steenrijke sjeik in Qatar. Al snel stuiten Arthur en Lex op Kees Wieringa, voormalig directeur van het museum, die kort na zijn vertrek een onthullend boek publiceerde over de giftige werksfeer en dubieuze praktijken in het museum. Hij denkt te weten wie er betrokken is bij de dood van Jacob. Tijdens hun onderzoek reconstrueren Arthur en Lex Jacobs laatste maanden en ontdekken ze een web van schimmige kunsthandel, politieke spanningen en persoonlijke conflicten in Qatar, een land met weinig vrijheid.
