＊什麼是催眠式引導冥想呢？
催眠式引導冥想，是帶領人放鬆身體進入一種內在寬鬆的狀態後，有目標性的透過隱喻、故事、畫面想像來設計，讓潛意識接收有益的建議自行在身心系統運作，例如：自律神經的放鬆、身體機能的修復、打破侷限、激發創意、調整思考模式、提高效能、運動員訓練等等。
＊冥想和催眠式引導冥想有何不同呢？
簡單來說：
冥想和催眠都是能讓一個人進入不同精神或意識狀態的方法，如果以肯恩·韋伯意識光譜的模型來說，冥想和催眠是光譜上不同的意識區間，會有些不同的意識狀態。
再更簡單的來說，冥想的核心是觀，而催眠的核心是暗示。而觀的本身是沒有內容和目標，暗示是具有目標性的。
