Wo und wie lernen wir leben?
Elsbeth Kossmeier und Benedikt Weingartner bewegt das Thema Lernen. Sie setzen sich damit auseinander, was man für das Leben lernt, lernen soll, freiwillig und unfreiwillig, bewusst und unbewusst. Mit ihren unterschiedlichen Zugängen führen sie kritisch und mit utopischen Gedanken im Hinterkopf einen Dialog.
Beide sind viel beschäftigt mit jungen Menschen, deren Reaktionen auf Schule, den unterschiedlichen Motivationen, Neues zu entdecken und ins eigene Leben hereinzunehmen, der Fähigkeit zur konstruktiven Auseinandersetzung mit Leben und Welt, ihrer Haltung zum Lernen generell.
Elsbeth Kossmeier ist Gestaltpädagogin, war 40 Jahre lang Lehrerin für Deutsch und Musik an einem Gymnasium sowie Mitarbeiterin an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Oberösterreich. Nach wie vor ist sie Referentin für Lehrende für einen Unterricht, der die Persönlichkeit der einzelnen Lernenden stärkt sowie deren Lernmotivation und Lernerfolg zu steigern vermag.

Benedikt Weingartner war 10 Jahre Benediktinermönch, Religionslehrer und später internationaler Künstlermanager im Bereich der klassischen Musik. Seit 2014 ist er Journalist und vor allem auf Außen- sowie Europapolitik spezialisiert. Er moderiert EU-Bürger:innendialoge und EU-Jugenddialoge. Darüber hinaus ist er Moderator und Redaktionsleiter des TV-Jugendtalkmagazins #Europa4me (https://www.okto.tv/europa4me) sowie der Sendereihe „Europa : DIALOG“ (https://www.okto.tv/europadialog).
