uma das passagens mais famosas da mitologia grega e amplamente explorada pela literatura é a história do labirinto do minotauro astérion. obra do arquiteto dédalus, o labirinto, nas palavras que o escritor jorge luis borges deu ao próprio minotauro, dispunha de catorze portas (que para astérion valeria por infinitos).



labirinto é também o nome da região interna da orelha responsável pela audição e pelo equilíbrio.
