Die Alster-Detektive – dahinter verbirgt sich das bundesweit erste Detektivhörspiel eines Parlaments für Kinder. Die sieben Hörspielfolgen sind in sich abgeschlossen und handeln von altersaffinen Hauptthemen, wie z. B. Tierschutz oder Graffiti, kombiniert mit Lokalkolorit.
Die vier Juniordetektive Koko, Lukas, Marek und Johanna sind beste Freunde und gehen in dieselbe 8. Klasse einer Hamburger Schule. Sie sind ausgesprochen unternehmungslustig, halten die Augen offen und setzen sich für ihre Mitmenschen und ihre Stadt ein.
Unrecht können Sie überhaupt nicht ausstehen und mischen sich ein, sobald es ihnen begegnet. Wenn erst einmal ein Problem ihr Interesse geweckt hat, gehen sie den Dingen so lange nach, bis die Missstände aufgedeckt und die Übeltäter gestellt sind.

Ihre actionreiche Premiere feierten die vier Juniordetektive Johanna, Koko, Marek und Lukas im April 2009 mit ihrem ersten Fall „Giftige Lieferung“.
Die vier Freunde lieben ihre Heimatstadt Hamburg und mischen sich ein, wenn ihnen etwas auffällt. Beim „Mitmischen“ in ihrer Stadt haben sie Jörg Strasser kennengelernt – einen Abgeordneten des Hamburger Landesparlaments.
Von Giftfässern im Hafen, Schutzgelderpressung über Graffiti-Schmierereien, Kreditkartenbetrug bis hin zu Lebensmittelskandalen – den Alster-Detektiven ist kein Fall zu kniffelig. Gemeinsam mit dem Abgeordnetem Strasser (gesprochen von: Jens Wawrczeck) und Kommissar Bredeke (gesprochen von: Dietmar Wunder) vom Landeskriminalamt haben die Freunde schon so einige Kriminalfälle gelöst und miese Ganoven zur Strecke gebracht.
