Willkommen beim Reality TV Check – dem Podcast für alle, die Reality TV nicht nur angucken, sondern auch verstehen wollen. Denn es lohnt sich, genauer hinzuschauen.

Was passiert gerade in den Shows – und warum ist das eigentlich interessant? Das schaue ich mir an: Kritisch, feministisch, und mit echtem Spaß an der Sache.

Im Reality TV Check gibt es zwei Arten von Folgen: Den Deep Dive, der ein Format, ein Phänomen oder eine Frage rund um Reality TV historisch und kulturell einordnet – und die regulären Folgen, in denen ich aktuelle Formate genauer anchaue. Von Kampf der Realitystars und Prominent getrennt bis zu internationalen Formaten auf RTL+, Joyn und Netflix: Kein Reality-Format ist zu groß, zu klein oder zu guilty für eine ehrliche Einordnung.
