Nicht nostalgisch an Vergangenem kleben, sondern optimistisch die Zukunft gestalten: Zurück zur Zukunft! Denn: Institutionen werden immer versuchen, die Probleme zu erhalten, für die sie die Lösung sind (Clay Shirky).
Wir fassen daher seit 2019 jede Woche die wichtigsten Entwicklungen im technologischen Umfeld zusammen und ordnen ihre Konsequenzen für Unternehmen und die Gesellschaft ein. Jeden Dienstag neu!
Als Unternehmer aus Berlin befassen wir uns seit 1995 intensiv mit dem Internet und den technologischen Entwicklungen: als Gründer von Internet-Startups, Autoren von Büchern über künstliche Intelligenz und den digitalen Wandel und Keynote-Speaker auf Konferenzen. Mit der von uns gegründeten Digitalstrategieberatung CREATIVE CONSTRUCTION unterstützten wir seit 2011 eine Vielzahl von Unternehmen dabei, ihre Zukunft im digitalen Umfeld neu zu gestalten. Diese wurde im März 2020 von der Technologie- und Managementberatung Capco akquiriert.
In nur wenigen Jahren hat das Internet nicht nur jede Branche grundlegend umgekrempelt und Geschäftsmodelle auf den Kopf gestellt, sondern auch das alltägliche Leben tiefgreifend verändert. Mit dem Smartphone hat heute jeder einen Supercomputer in der Tasche, der viele Millionen Mal schneller ist, als der NASA-Computer, der den ersten Mondflug steuerte. Damit kann man nicht nur eine virtuelle Flotte von Autos nutzen, um mit einem Klick von A nach B zu kommen, sondern hat auch auf das gesamte Wissen der Menschheitsgeschichte Zugriff.
Dies stellt jedoch erst den Anfang dar. Der in den nächsten Jahren bevorstehende Wandel jedes Bereichs unseres Lebens wird tiefgreifender sein, als es sich die meisten heute vorstellen können. Denn: Niemals wieder wird die Geschwindigkeit des Wandels so langsam sein, wie jetzt gerade. Wir sind der Überzeugung, dass man den Weg in diese Zukunft am besten meistern kann, wenn man das Motto von Paul Graham beherzigt: Live in the future, then build what’s missing.
