Jeg hedder Patrick Simiglai, jeg er din vært på Podcasten og vil med min erfaring fra et liv på kanten hjælpe dig med at finde din drivkraft og dele mentale teknikker, strategier og inspirerende historier fra mine gæster.

Patrick Simiglai er 30 år gammel og vokset op i en dysfunktionel familie, hvor vold, overgreb og omsorgssvigt var helt almindeligt. Det kom ikke bag på mange, da han begyndte at snuse til bandemiljøet, og efter sit exit tyede han til flasken, som senere blev peppet op med kokain. Efter 6 lange år som hardcore misbruger med over 45 genstande dagligt, gravede han dybt og den 4 november 2018 besluttede han sig for at dette skulle stoppe efter et utal af forsøg på det inden. Forskellen denne gang var, at drivkraften kom indefra til at skabe en forandring, det var hans eget ansvar at skabe den tilværelse han ønskede. Siden er det blevet til mange personlige rekorder som tæller at have lært engelsk under en afsoning ved at oversætte i en Gyldendahl ordbog, ord efter ord. Han har skrevet sin egen bog, og gennemført et utal af sportslige udfordringer med det formål at samle midler ind til udsatte børn. Nogle af dem er f.eks. at løbe 6 maratons på 45 timer, svømme 37 km eller gennemføre en ultraman – 2.5 gange ironman på blot 38 timer.
