David Sarno und Sascha Lapp arbeiten seit vielen Jahren als Autoren und Produzenten für verschiedene True-Crime-Formate des ZDF und ZDFinfo. Für ihr Buch »Das Prinzip Mord« (Emons Verlag) ist es ihnen gelungen, exklusive Einsicht in die Fallakten zu erlangen und ausführliche Interviews mit Ermittlern zu führen, die mit spektakulären Mordfällen zwischen den Jahren 1971 und 2015 betraut waren. Die Dokumentation der Verbrechen liefert seltene, spannende und emotionale Einblicke in die Polizeiarbeit. Die Autoren „begleiten“ die Ermittler vom Tatort bis zur Festnahme des Täters.

In Staffel 1 des gleichnamigen True-Crime-Podcasts zum Buch holen sich Sascha Lapp und David Sarno die Kommissare, Staatsanwälte und Kriminaltechniker von damals nun auch vor das Mikrofon. Hier sprechen sie mit den Experten über die realen Abläufe der Ermittlungsarbeit und geben Einblick in weitere spannende Details und Hintergrundinformationen.

Die aus Radio und TV bekannte Moderatorin und Sprecherin Ingrid El Sigai liest die Texte aus dem Buch und sorgt mit ihrer unverwechselbaren Stimme schon vor den Interviews für Gänsehautmomente.
