Sanni Seppo (s.1960) on helsinkiläinen valokuvataiteilija, joka kertoo töissään yhteisöjen aktiivisuudesta puolustaa oikeuksiaan, ihmisen ja luonnon suhteesta sekä hauraista unelmista elää omansalaista elämää.
Pohjoistuulen metsä on päätösosa Ritva Kovalaisen ja Sanni Sepon valokuvataiteelliseen tutkimukseen perustuvalle metsätrilogialle, jossa kolmekymmenvuotinen työ metsäaiheiden parissa kiteytyy. Aiemmat teokset ovat suomalaista metsämytologiaa luotaava Puiden kansa (1997) ja metsätalouden varjopuolia kuvaava Metsänhoidollisia toimenpiteitä (2009).
