De Groene Winkelkar zoekt de verbinding en bewustwording tussen de consument en de boer.

Om het jou als consument makkelijk te maken om bewust te winkelen, online of offline, is het belangrijk dat er kennis beschikbaar komt van het product.

Hoe fijn zou het zijn wanneer jij voor de keuze staat welk doosje eieren jij wilt kopen. dat jij snel kunt zien van welke kip het ei in het winkelschap ligt. Dat jij weet of dit ei door een kip is gelegd, die buiten kan lopen en zijn wormpjes kan zoeken. Of dat jij weet dat de kip van dit ei niet buiten komt. Het is gewoon fijn te weten hoe het zit. Dan kun jij als consument beslissen of afwegen welk doosje eieren jij in jouw winkel kar gaat doen.

Op dit moment ontbreekt deze kennis over vele producten in de winkel. De groene winkelkar vindt dat het nu het moment is daar verandering in aan te brengen.
