Boomtown Cottbus
Die brandenburgische Stadt Cottbus ist der Motor und das Zentrum des Lausitzer Aufbruchs. Hier sollen rund 7.000 neue Jobs entstehen – Europas modernstes Bahnwerk, die Universitätsmedizin, ein neuer Forschungscampus mit internationaler Ausstrahlung und der entstehende Ostsee samt klimaneutraler Seevorstadt sind die Leitplanken.
Insgesamt sechs starke Entwicklungsfelder mit einem Investitionsvolumen von über 5 Milliarden Euro machen Cottbus in den kommenden Jahren zur Boomtown. Wir hören in jedes dieser Felder hinein und stellen prägende Protagonist:innen der Stadt vor.
