In den 1980er-Jahren versetzte HIV die Welt in Angst und Schrecken. Die Aidskrise hat bis heute Millionen Tote gefordert. Erst 1996 kam das erste wirksame Medikament auf den Markt. Heute kann man gut mit HIV leben – sofern man unter Therapie ist.
In drei Folgen erzählt dieser Podcast die Geschichte von HIV und Aids in der Schweiz:
FUCK: Welche Auswirkungen hatte und hat HIV auf Liebe und Sexualität?
FIGHT: Welche Kämpfe wurden während der Aidskrise ausgefochten - und werden auch heute noch ausgefochten?
CARE: Wer kümmerte sich um alle Menschen, die wegen ihrer Krankheit ausgestossen wurden?
Wir haben mit Menschen gesprochen, die den Ausbruch der Aids-Epidemie erlebten und selbst betroffen waren. Mit Menschen, die keine Berührungsängste hatten und gegen Virus und Stigmatisierung gekämpft haben. Und mit Menschen, die heute mit HIV leben.
