Achim Neumann ist 22, als in Berlin die Mauer gebaut wird. Er fühlt sich eingesperrt in der DDR – und er erlebt immer häufiger, wie heftig die Regierung Andersdenkende schikaniert. Noch im selben Jahr flieht er aus der DDR. Um auch seine Freundin in den Westen zu holen, schließt er sich einer Gruppe an, die einen Tunnel von West nach Ost graben will. Ein gefährliches Unterfangen. „Wie hast du Menschen aus der DDR geschmuggelt?“, wollen Eva (16) und Josef (17) wissen. Dieser achtteilige Podcast ist aus den Gesprächen der beiden mit dem heute 86-jährigen Zeitzeugen Achim entstanden.
