What is Blaank?
Founded by Ruki in 2012, Blaank is a label with one sole purpose — to promote music positively. Blaank is more than just a label; it’s a lifestyle that Ruki practices, planning to have other like-minded artists promote and support it, having already both interviewed up-and-coming artists within the industry and promoted Ruki’s musical genius within the label.
Later in 2012, Ruki met Viktor Callahan, a genius who’s created numerous hit progressive house tracks over the years. This duo has a driven passion for music and have never felt more alive than they do today! With Viktor as a mentor and hard-working partner, Ruki knew that Blaank could now move forward as a union and family.
Blaank will always provide a good platform for upcoming artists to show off their talent and their passion towards house music. Blaank is relatively new to the industry, but don’t underestimate the sheer power within the team — Blaank has some of the hardest working people in the industry, who strongly believe in success through the pain of dedicated effort and hard work!
Who is Ruki?
Born in Sri Lanka but brought up in the hard nature of London, Ruki is a house/mashup producer who’s experienced many platforms within the entertainment industry. Having worked hard to gain his respect, he never fails to deliver what his fans , friends & family demand of him! His hard work is shown through the genius in his musical creations and the talent to impress every person who’s experienced him live.
Ruki originally listened to house music as a comfort, and through listening almost religiously he grew to love it! This love would later grow into curiosity of being a House DJ, and from the age of 22 onward, DJing became his passion, and later, the catalyst for creating Blaank!
Ruki has an open heart to people who always support him and love him dearly for what he loves doing. Behind the scenes, he is one of the hardest-working people you will ever meet; a down-to-earth person who always supports other artists — this reflects his sheer passion and understanding of the industry where he’ll continue to evolve along with Blaank and its roster.
