Tshireletso Montsho also known as DJ Clone was born in the SOuth WEstern TOwnships of Johannesburg, Mzin’hlophe. The name Clone came from his Friends reason being he is “Multi-Skilled and talented”. Clone developed a passion for music during the late 90s specifically the Kwaito (South African born genre) and Hip Hop genres.
His Style of music creates a classic tone of nostalgia as he takes you back into time with classic tunes from yester year. His Signature style of old school classics is what defines him to be a legend in the making. Clone’s set which rages from kwaito to ol’skool hip hop, RnB and House.
In 2001 he developed interest in becoming a disk jockey and eventually achieved that in 2002 after his 1st gig in Alexandra, where he experienced the power of having a crowd under his command. He got introduced to house music in the same year. “I remember my 1st flawless house mix in 2002, I used to compare it to that of top DJz in South Africa”
