Denali
Denali was born Timmy J. Marcoux in Manchester N.H. on March 24th 1982 at the age of 7 he was introduced to rap music “My first clear memory of rap was my mom chasing me around the living room trying to take away my NWA Straight Outta Compton tape, yes i said tape!” -Denali from that time on it was just him and the music listening to such artist’s as NWA, Public Enemy, 2 Live Crew, and more. as time progressed so did rap music and so did Denali after growing up through the death’s of Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace and Tupac Shakur his love for the rap game grew listening to the artist’s of the era from Boot Camp Click to Flipmode Squad, O.C., Mobb Deep, Nas, and the list goes on , Around that time Dancehall Reggae was on the rise and it wasn’t below Denali’s notice cuz at the age of 13 during class in Jr High he began writing Dancehall lyrics sometime after that those notebooks were stolen from his locker which some would’ve seen as setback not D, it only furthered his hunger for more. In 2002 linking up with some other local emcees Denali taught himself to record and engineer his own tracks. Shortly after that he was introduced to 2 emcees who would not only help him to progress but to eclipse the competition in the Granite state (Meta-4 Est 1986, Konflikk Est 1982) With the start of the group Saints of the Dark He began to make a buzz for himself through shows cd’s and word of mouth of his skills throughout the state. In 2006 tired of the empty promises and “i know someone in the game” quotes Denali decided to start H1 Family Records and H1 Productions. Now Denali is a pro ready to take on the world so get out of the way if you’re in it because as Denali’s song goes “So please accept just what your role is, you’re no opponent, because the world you’re in’s mine.”
