La donna d’acciaio
Rosanna Benzi aveva 14 anni quando, nel 1962 fu colpita dalla poliomielite. La salvarono chiudendola in un polmone d’acciaio dove visse 29 anni, fino al 1991. Ma quella scatola d’acciaio chiusa in una stanza d’ospedale non riuscì a imprigionare la forza di questa donna. Da lì Rosanna parlò al mondo e sollevò con forza il tema dei diritti delle persone disabili. Fondò e diresse la rivista “Gli altri” e si fece ascoltare dai potenti della Terra. La sua lezione è sempre viva. Ce la racconta Saverio Paffumi - che aiutò Rosanna a scrivere due libri - insieme a Massimo Razzi.
