Live from the Avant Garden
Join host, V.J. Hyde and special guests for a garden party podcast where we talk dirt and play music for the plants. Recorded live from a community garden plot in the DMV. Come for the gardening tips and stay for the live music!
Each episode, V.J. and guest(s) meet in his community garden plot to chat about gardening, music, sustainability, culture and more. No garden party is complete without music, so listeners (and V.J. 's plants) will be treated to live music from locally, nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians. Think of it as NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts but live from a garden plot with tips on how to deal with a fungus gnat infestation in your spider plants.

Stats: Statistics are produced by Captivate to help Live from the Avant Garden to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Captivate is IAB v2 certified. Here is more detail about podcast statistics.
Dynamic content insertion: Captivate may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Live from the Avant Garden may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.
Live from the Avant Garden is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
