ASSEBA - Associação de Sambadores e Sambadeiras do Estado da Bahia
A Associação de Sambadores e Sambadeiras do Estado da Bahia, ASSEBA - surgiu em 17 de abril de 2005, a partir do movimento deflagrado pelos grupos de Samba de Roda do Recôncavo Baiano. O movimento começou estimulado por uma série de pesquisas realizadas pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Historio Artístico Nacional, IPHAN, para constituição do dossiê sobre o Samba de Roda.
Após o IPHAN registra-lo como Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro, em outubro de 2004, foram criadas as condições para o reconhecimento do Samba de Roda do Recôncavo Baiano, pela Organização das Nações Unidas.
