Who doesn’t love a good, old-fashioned book club? Well, us. Each week hosts Emily and Bri dive into an Anisfield-Wolf Book Award-winning novel and instead of discussing the book’s character, plot, and symbols (boring), take a look at the bigger social issues it presents (not boring). They break down the background, history, influences, and ideas that make you say, “I had no idea this happened” and, “how do we live with ourselves knowing this is going on right now?”
