Σε κάθε γενιά έρχεται κάποτε ο ουρανός σφοντύλι. Χάνεται κάθε βεβαιότητα, κάθε αίσθηση ασφάλειας. Ανατρέπεται ο κόσμος όπως τον είχε μάθει και περνούσε άνετα μέσα του. Για τους παππούδες μας ήταν η Κατοχή και ο Εμφύλιος. Για τους γονείς μας, τα μεταπολεμικά ζόρια, η καχεκτική μετεμφυλιακή δημοκρατία, που μετά την παρένθεση της «Χαμένης Άνοιξης», κατέληξε στη Χούντα. Για εμάς, για τα παιδιά των ‘60s και των 70’s, ήταν η χρεοκοπία του 2010. Και ο -ευτυχώς αναίμακτος- διχασμός που ακολούθησε. Σήμερα, που η Ιστορία έχει γυρίσει σελίδα, ο Χρήστος Χωμενίδης διηγείται τη διαβολοδεκαετία 2006-2016. Από απόσταση μα από πρώτο χέρι.Με ψυχραιμία, με σαρκασμό, ίσως και με μια νοσταλγία για όσα ζήσαμε. Για τις γλυκιές αυταπάτες που γκρεμίστηκαν τόσο απότομα. Για τα νιάτα μας, που πρώτα εξιδανικεύθηκαν και ύστερα συκοφαντήθηκαν. Για να θυμούνται οι παλαιότεροι και να μαθαίνουν οι νεότεροι.
