Radio Exterior de España abrió en abril de 2013 su RADAR 3.0 para monitorizar la contribución de las Fuerzas Armadas a la Defensa de España y la paz mundial en un geostrategia cambiante y caracterizada por la fragilidad de los equilibrios internacionales. Pero RADAR 3.0 no sólo aborda los ecos y destellos de las misiones miltiares en el exterior, también informa de los esfuerzos cotidianos de los 120.000 efectivos de las FAS dentro del terriotorio nacional para garantizar la seguridad de los españoles 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana y 365 días al año.
