Alice Bota, geboren Ende 1979 in Polen, ist seit 2007 außenpolitische Redakteurin der ZEIT, war 2009 das erste Mal in der Ukraine und hat von 2015 bis Ende 2020 als Korrespondentin der ZEIT aus Moskau berichtet.
Michael Thumann, geboren Ende 1962, ist seit 1992 bei der ZEIT, war schon als Student in der Sowjetunion, berichtete als ZEIT-Korrespondent aus Russland und seinen Nachbarländern von 1996 bis 2001, 2014/15 – und seit 2021 wieder vom Standort Moskau.
