Jo, forced to come up with a brilliant idea for an upcoming essay exam, detours into the bush on her way to school to find inspiration. She stumbles into two unusual creatures by the banks of the Corkuparipple Creek. Jo’s dream to discover anything not yet discovered may be realised. This could be the discovery she has been yearning for and great subject matter for her important exam. The mystery of Corkuparipple Creek begins and her eyes are opened to a new way of looking at our existence.
Based on the books of the same written by Queensland children’s author Susan Pease, The Mysteries of Corkuparipple Creek is a new podcast coming this year. Featuring an all-Australian cast of voice actors this audio series was conceived and recorded in Brisbane during the COVID lockdown on 2020. The story revolves around Jo - a young girl with a special relationship with the Australian Bush and the fantastic creatures she meets there. With strong envorinmental messages and themes of taking responsibility for your actions, it is sure to both entertain and educate children young and old.
