The show’s name is a play on words, a double entendre of sorts. Many players and coaches are labeled offensive-minded, meaning their strategies and styles are more suited toward the offense of a particular sport. The first word in “Offensive Minded” is pronounced as in the sentence: “Beanie’s critique of college sports’ moral turpitude was offensive to NCAA administrators.”
