Sono persone luminose, ironiche. Sono donne che Concita De Gregorio ha incontrato, in qualche momento della sua vita, e che è poi tornata a cercare. Per anni, decenni, ha studiato la loro lingua per entrare nei loro panni. Le parole che ascolterete sono state tutte scritte, dette da ciascuna di loro. De Gregorio le ha cucite insieme per restituire la voce che non hanno avuto in vita. Sono state escluse, a volte imprigionate perché libere, irregolari, profetiche. “Ho immaginato che si alzassero in piedi al loro funerale per dire a tutti “un’ultima cosa”: chi sono stata e sono davvero, ve lo racconto io.”
