Finscale

The inside story of European finance, told by its leaders, with humanity.
Every week, Solenne Niedercorn-Desouches sits down with the people transforming European finance: bankers, insurers, asset managers, private equity and venture capital investors, FinTech founders, regulators and policymakers. A former private banker (UBS, Lombard Odier), independent board member and lecturer at HEC Paris, she talks to her guests as a peer, and the conversation goes further than a classic interview, far from the talking points.
Topics include financing innovation and European champions, the transformation of banks and insurers, AI and payments, private markets, regulation, sovereignty and governance.
The feed also carries From Within, Finscale’s special series, which explores what happens before it becomes a decision: the human and cultural side of change, in leaders and in the organisations they run. According to Bain & Company (2024), 88% of transformations fall short of their original ambition. From Within starts from a conviction: part of the answer lies within the people who lead them.
Part of Finscale, an independent bilingual media with more than 380 episodes since 2020. Guests have included Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance of Luxembourg, Laurent Curny (Stripe France), Marie-Hélène Massard (Foyer) and Jean-Baptiste Graftieaux (Coinbase Europe).
