In seizoen 1 van Roels Sofasessies maakte Roel van Velzen een podcast over de heftige tijd na zijn scheiding. Door ervaringen uit te wisselen met bekende collega’s probeerde hij orde te scheppen in de chaos. Nu hij een jaar verder is komt hij voor heel andere dilemma’s te staan: hoe houd je de relatie met je ex gezond en hoe voed je los van elkaar, maar toch samen op? Wanneer en hóe stel je je nieuwe liefde aan je kinderen voor? En hoe zorg je dat je niet weer dezelfde fouten maakt als in je vorige relatie?
In dit tweede seizoen praat Roel van Velzen over het leven als gescheiden, én opnieuw verliefde man. Onder het motto ‘Nieuwe ronde, nieuwe kansen’ bespreekt hij met bekende collega’s hoe het is om opnieuw te beginnen. De ‘ervaringsdeskundigen’ praten eerlijk over fouten, valkuilen en verdrietige momenten. Maar vooral over de lessen die ze na hun scheiding hebben geleerd en hoe ze die toepassen in hun zoektocht naar nieuw geluk. En wat blijkt? Er is licht aan het eind van de tunnel!
