Artz Tha Reelz (Housewreckaz, LA)
Los Angeles native Artz Tha Reelz began DJing in the late ’90s, cutting his teeth at flyer parties and underground gatherings while developing a deep, soulful approach to house music.
In 2011, he founded Housewreckaz, an LA underground DJ collective and event brand, alongside Sowelu. Housewreckaz Radio Show originally ran from 2012 to 2018 and is returning in 2026 with exclusive mixes and guest sets, delivering deep, soulful, and unfiltered house music to listeners worldwide. The show has been hosted by Artz, Sowelu, and Juliet Mendoza.
Artz is also the founder of Soulshack LA, a night dedicated to soulful house, Motown house edits, and R&B-infused grooves. His event UNIZEN, a bi-annual Housewreckaz gathering, further cements his reputation as a curator of authentic underground experiences.
Over the years, he has shared bills and residencies with respected artists including Kenny Summit, and continues to represent Los Angeles’ underground house culture with a minimalist, music-first ethos.
