Seeking Peace
Peace is not something constructed in a room only by men. It takes a range of voices, perspectives and diverse practices. Seeking Peace is a podcast that explores the role of women around the world in bringing lasting peace to their communities. Women are too often seen as victims of conflict. But they are leaders and often unsung heroes. On this show, we bring you the stories of women breaking gender barriers and changing society. Episodes explore the roles women play in their local communities, in peace negotiations, in politics and more. This podcast is a production of Georgetown’s Institute for Women, Peace and Security. It’s in partnership with the United Nations Department of Peace Operations, and Our Secure Future. It’s produced by Wonder Media Network.
