Christopher Siguencia-Vargas “DJ Mechon” was introduced to the world of Disc Jockeying at a very young age by his uncle. Assisting at weddings, quinceañeras and other private functions, his interest in music grew at each event. Being raised listening to Latin music and also living in a diverse city such as Toronto, definitely helped him become the DJ he is today. The fusion of Latin with English and the ability to swiftly transition between them is what set DJ Mechon aside from the rest.
In 2012, DJ Mechon thought it was time to put together “Mechoning Vol 1” his first mixtape. It was released in Toronto in front of 10,000 people at the Festival de Verano and all around cities across Canada. Two years later in 2014, DJ Mechon was introduced as one of the first official LMP (iamlmp.com) DJs in Canada.
DJ Mechon is passionate about DJing and has high hopes to one day teach what he has learned over the years. From house parties to private events and nightclubs, DJ Mechon strives for greatness in the entertainment industry.
