Turchia, il paese che ospita più rifugiati al mondo, e Gaziantep, una città al confine con la Siria la cui popolazione è raddoppiata in pochissimo tempo a causa dei forti flussi di migranti in fuga.
Quali sono le storie delle persone che nascono a poche centinaia di chilometri da noi ma che sono costrette a lasciare la propria casa? Quali sono i loro sogni e ricordi? Storie di questo mondo nasce così: per raccontare di come si cresce durante la guerra, di come si gioca mentre si cerca di scappare dal dolore. Ogni episodio è dedicato a una storia diversa, a una persona diversa, la cui testimonianza diretta si integrerà al racconto della voce narrante. Vite di bambini, ragazzi, adulti come noi, ma con cammini diversi. In luoghi diversi. Ma tutti di questo mondo.
